Maxime Salvador sets the tone for The Salon by Maxime. With his movie star looks and European charms he easily infuses his Beverly Hills salon with an easy, sexy, sophistication - this is what hits you when you walk into the salon.
At the tender age of twenty-four, Maxime had already sold his first salon in France and came out to Los Angeles, where he spent 15 years mastering the art of hair styling on a-list tresses - the likes of Angelica Houston, Jennifer Lopez, and Emma Thompson at the renowned Jose Eber salon.
In 2004, Maxime opened none other than, The Salon by Maxime, on the famed rue, Rodeo Drive. Offering the most relaxed salon experience, while conveying you are in expert hands, is a difficult achievement but Maxime and his staff manage this skill beautifully.
With Maxime you can feel his years of success spent cultivating skills at Cannes, styling celebrities for Universal Studios, and European salons -Claude Maxime and Jean Claude Aubrey. In his chair, you catch glimpses of his experiences and absorb his enthusiasm as he masterfully creates a work of art with you, the client, his canvas, his muse.

Adriana Rodriguez
Adriana has been styling hair ever since she can remember. A passion for styling lead her to pursue her dreams of working in a high-end salon. Adriana's formal training came courtesy of the famous Jose Eber Salon. Now working at The Salon by Maxime, since it'ss conception, Adriana quips, "I was lucky enough to help open The Salon by Maxime and be a part of the original styling team," making the salon her second home -where Adriana enjoys the "relaxed, yet structured environment" the salon has to offer. A unique specialty of Adriana's is working with wigs but her favorite challenge is having a wide range of clients. "The best part of my job is interacting with different people and making them feel great before walking out the door the clients are my inspiration."

Angela Ortiz
Styling hair since she was a teen, Angela was licensed right out of high school. Working at Jose Eber shaped her into a stylist. She then moved on to The Salon by Maxime, where she has been since the day it opened. Angela works with all types of hair; everything from classic to edgy styles mimicking her wide range of clients with fine hair, thick hair, short, and long. Angela treats everyone who sits in her chair like a celebrity! Although Angela is stimulated by fashion and music she is truly inspired from her clients' energy - "when you have a client who is so pumped up to be in your chair, it inspires you to do some really cool things with their hair."

Bulmaro
Bulmaro's love for life is reflected in his creative ability to illuminate the beauty and sex appeal in others. Throughout his 22 years of industry experience, Bulmaro has earned a reputation for impeccable artistry and versatility. With clients ranging from a princess to the Hollywood elite and die-hard rockers, Bulmaro's warmth and ingenuous nature make him a life-long friend amongst his clientele.
A native of Los Angeles, having been born and raised in East LA, Bulmaro's passion was inspired by the juxtapose between the rough streets that surrounded him and the stolen moments when the sun can make a woman'ss skin come alive with an angelic glow.
At age 16 Bulmaro took his growing talent to Hollywood where he quickly gained recognition among Hollywood'ss music scene. For the next 10 years he worked with a growing list of private clientele both domestically and internationally.
1n 1997 Bulmaro joined forces with celebrity make-up artist, Valerie Sarnelle at her salon, Valerie Beverly Hills Salon. The Salon by Maxime is thrilled Bulmaro has joined their team where he specializes in giving that angelic look that inspired him so many years ago, offering a flawless, youthful glow with undeniable sex appeal and beauty.

Burton Machen
With mentions in Vogue, Harper'ss Bazaar, Glamour, Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, InStyle, Marie Claire, and winning a Self magazine award for "best curly hair stylist", as well as being voted "one of the best hair cutters in New York" by New York magazine, it's obvious Burton Machen has made a name for himself in the beauty industry.
For the past 18 years, Machen has been styling and cutting some of the best-known tresses in the entertainment industry. His skill has allowed him to travel the world, styling for television shows and photo shoots with the likes of Sheryl Crow, Kelly Lynch, Julia Roberts, Barbara Streisand, and Vogue'ss famed editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.
Getting his start in New York, Machen was Frederic Fekkai's personal assistant before joining the Peter Coppola Salon. After a switch to the west coast, Machen worked at the prestigious Sally Hershberger Salon before joining Maxime's team at The Salon by Maxime in Beverly Hills. An advocate for building strong relationships with his clients, Machen likes to spend time with each client and "focus on their facial features" to determine the best cut for his individual client. Machen believes it is important to do what'ss most flattering for his clients' unique facial features, emphasizing natural styling, rather than pushing for whatever may be the hair trend of the moment. Machen believes, "What works for one person might not be as flattering on another."

CJ Cassaday
CJ Cassaday has had over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Cassaday's clients range from celebrities to Oscar and Emmy nominated and award winning producers, writers, and directors, as well as agents from the entertainment industries' top agencies.
CJ's skill comes from all facets of the entertainment and fashion industry such as editorial shoots, press junkets, LA Fashion Week, model styling, and his favorite which is getting his clients red carpet ready for The Oscars, Golden Globes and other special events.
CJ's work has been featured in publications such as Elle, InStyle, Esquire, People, Us Weekly, Beverly Hills 213, The Enquirer and Star Magazine. What really sets CJ apart is the incredible affect he has on his clients; the dedication and full attention given to each leaves everyone feeling like a star.

Daniele Taillieu
Daniele Taillieu is at the top of her game. A hair colorist to the core, Tailleieu is an industry innovator who specializes in blondes working on some of the most famous golden locks Hollywood has to offer, while maintaining many brunette fans as well - think Elizabeth Taylor.
Taillieu's career began in Paris at the tender age of 15. Over the next 30 years, Taillieu worked in several prestigious salons such as Claude Maxim Mondil, Jean Louis David, and Guillaume.
While working in France, Jose Eber's business partner came across Taillieu and recruited her to move west and color at Eber's famous Beverly Hills salon. Taillieu quickly became one of Eber's top colorists; and was the first colorist in Los Angeles to introduce the Baliage technique in the late 1980's. During her almost 20 years at Eber, she worked as their national color director. The Salon by Maxime is thrilled to have her charms and talent!

Heidi Kim
"I love the energy at The Salon by Maxime," says Heidi Kim. "There is so much daylight that breaks through the windows and the ambiance is both calming to the clients and the staff, while there's still this feeling of excitement."
Perhaps Heidi loves a calm and exciting environment because it mirrors her style. First and foremost, a color expert, Heidi specializes in one-process color treatments that give clients a very polished and natural look.
Creating natural looks for her client results in longtime clients known for beautiful healthy hair - Daphne Zuniga, Leigh Taylor Young, Linda Gray and Joan Van Ark.
Born in Korea, Heidi trained in Honolulu at Bottega Antone, before heading east to Los Angeles in 1991. Heidi's first stop in Beverly Hills was at the Juan Juan Salon, then on to Jose Eber, where she worked for 12 years and became the artistic director for the color department.
While on staff at Jose Eber, Heidi colored hair for several high profile television programs, including Oprah, Sally Jesse Raphael, Leeza Gibbons and Extreme Makeover.

Irene Malinsky
Irene Malinsky, The Salon by Maxime's nail technician, delivers one of the most flawless finishes with precise movement and confidence. Her pedigree for delivering "mani/pedis" spans ten plus years at prestigious salons such as Prive Salon, The Salon at Beverly Hills Hotel and now The Salon by Maxime.

Jade
Jade has been fascinated by hair since she was a child and once she realized hair was her true passion, she joined Umberto of Beverly Hills Salon. After five years of polishing her craft at Umberto's, Jade relocated to The Lab Salon where she continued to build her Beverly Hill's clientele for two years.
Now having landed at The Salon by Maxime, Jade specializes in color, as well as haircuts and the Brazilian Keratin Treatment. The Brazilian Keratine Treatment is a relaxer, which eliminates frizz and relaxes curly hair. The treatment improves the health of the hair and reduces time spent on blow-drying and flat ironing drastically without compromising the gentle wave and the ability to style your hair as desired - full, curly or straight. Another area of expertise for Jade is highlighting blonde hair utilizing foils. Jade's hair services extend to both men and women as she feels it offers her creativity - in her words, "Hair is my art medium."

Jen Hluska
Jen Hluska started her career as a colorist at the Art Luna Salon. Four years later, working under their top colorists, she moved to Jonathan in West Hollywood. From the start, Jen was not only focused on hair color but hair extensions as well.
At The Salon by Maxime, Hluska practices her preference for sunny California highlights mixed with soft rich hues of brown. She believes in high-quality craftsmanship in regards to color and extensions, using only the highest quality products and hair.

Kris Mortensen
Kris Mortensen has loved hair from a very early age; started beauty school at age 17, trained with owner Maxime Salvador, and has been with The Salon by Maxime ever since. Mortensen specializes in cutting and styling and his work is known to be big, sexy, and glamorous.
Often working with Warner Brothers Studios, his experience with photo shoots has resulted in a love for 'period hair', an acute attention to detail - basically a perfectionist. "One of my favorite things about doing hair is watching my clients walk out the door with an extra bounce of confidence in their step. People like to look young and feel sexy and I like to take my time and pay close attention to detail."

Rima Uranga
Rima Uranga began her career at 19, working with Maurice at Jose Eber in Beverly Hills. The past 10 years have seen Uranga focused on Japanese Thermal reconditioning of the hair; then training in many different styles of relaxers. All of this technique culminates into what is presently the most effective conditioning technique - the keratin complex smoothing treatment. "I have spent many seminars training as an educator with this new and innovative technique. I feel this is the best product on the market and, together with my reconditioning; I'm able to provide service for women. That helps give them the ease of styling their own hair, and unlocking the inner beauty of the hair without the frustration of a difficult morning routine."

Sigrid Mahan
Born and raised in Southern California, Sigrid Mahan had an inherent aptitude for creativity. Unsure of how her talents would manifest, Sigrid experimented until she came across the art of make up; in part because of her background as a ballet dancer as it exposed her to the forte of stage make-up. Sigrid went on to work with hair stylists and make-up artists who worked with Janet Jackson. Impressed with the creative collaboration, Sigrid was inspired to pursue her own career.
Sigrid attended cosmetology school, where her interest in color commenced. Soon after Sigrid accepted the opportunity to train with Sally Hershberger at John Frieda Salon in Hollywood, where she learned the art and technique of Baliage. After two years of training, Sigrid went on to work at Frank Studio in Santa Monica, Salon Bruseau in West Hollywood and then spent 5 years at the Jonathan Salon, where she gained experience and had the flexibility to master color techniques. Now, joining the team at The Salon by Maxime, Sigrid exclaims she has found "the perfect fit working with other talented hair stylists who compliment my color, style, and vision."
Sigrid enjoys working with various clients that include television and film personalities, but everyone who sits in her chair is VIP.

Stephanie Houdin
Before joining The Salon by Maxime, Stephanie Houdin began her career with the Deforges Salon in Paris, before taking a job at Jacque Dessange in St. Tropez. In 1990, she came to the US and joined the staff at Jose Eber.
Having been featured in Vogue, Angeleno and Allure as an authority on dressing tresses, like other stylists at The Salon by Maxime, Houdin's biggest fans include celebrity talent like actor Donald Sutherland, whom Houdin has styled for every film he'ss been in for the past 12 years.

Steven Mora
A native of Southern California, Steven Mora recalls at an early age being introduced to the world of art. With a propensity for art, Mora often found himself with paint brushes, pastels, pencils, and a sketch pad in hand. Eager to learn more, Mora studied art history in college and made it a point to visit as many art museums as possible while traveling.
With a desire to bring his art to life, Mora discovered he could apply many of his artistic abilities and techniques to make-up application. Airbrushing, a specialty for Mora, provides a flawless photo finish. Another unique skill is the sculpting of eyebrows to compliment and frame the face. Often compared to a chemist, Mora has an amazing ability to customize perfect color match foundation. Known for his use of neutral colors and well-blended tones, at The Salon by Maxime, Mora helps direct his clients towards a softer, more natural look - sharing his technique with his clients so they can look like a work of art everyday.

Thomas McKinney
Thomas McKinney started his management career in the hair industry in 2003 at Jose Eber. "I have always been in management, with all of the jobs I have held." McKinney realized early in his life that management was what he would set out to do -- and customer service was an innate skill he possessed.
Starting in retail management, before the hair industry, McKinney has perfected his approach, "I have a strong belief that the client comes first, and it's important to be an avid listener when dealing with the public."
